About This Site
- I decided i want to have a bit more controlled presentation on the internet. And as i do not like facebook, linkedin and other social networks, a blog is what decided for.
- This blog is built with Quarto — an open-source scientific and technical publishing system.
- Some contents of this blog were made with the assistance of AI - but the main content is still from me and i proof-read every single word.
🗺️ Where i come from
I always had a thing for IT and natural sciences, so i studied Maths (was too dry), then Physics (was too dry, too) and then decided i switch to something easy (Computer Sciences) before i became father and had to start earning money. That’s the short version. And yes, i was young and dumb back then, around the 2000s.
Still - my heart beats mathematical and i definitely know what a beautiful formula is and what joy it can bring. And i laugh with Matt Parker and love 3Blue1Brown.
Sometimes later, in 2011, i relocated to Vienna, had different employers, started leading teams, building software and infrastructure and when AI came along, i also wanted to know what this was about and invested time in setting up some AI infrastructure in my homelab. And now i am perhaps neglecting my family a bit for that…
